The Intellectual Property Forum is a quarterly journal published by the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand Inc. The Intellectual Property Forum is a reflection of the changing landscape in the practice of intellectual property law.

Contents Include:

Editorial: A brief overview by the editor of issues and concerns that are covered by the particular issue of the journal.
Profile: A profile of an eminent member of the intellectual property community in Australia or New Zealand.
Articles: These range across the whole field of intellectual property, covering topics of both local and international interest.
Current Developments: Notes on current developments both in Australasia and around the world.
Case Comments: Brief notes on cases of current interest from Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe.

The Society organises dinner meetings and seminars, at which recent developments in intellectual property laws are discussed and debated and the education of members is advanced. These meetings and seminars give you the opportunity to meet eminent national and international guest speakers, as well as other members of the Society, many of whom are experts in the intellectual property area – in an informal atmosphere.

IPSANZ Prize

IPSANZ is pleased to announce its 2011 competition for an essay on a topic of the author’s choice regarding intellectual property.

The IPSANZ Prize will comprise the sum of $5,000 AUD plus complimentary attendance at the IPSANZ Annual Conference scheduled to be held over the weekend of 2 – 4 September 2011 including two night’s accommodation at the Shangri-La Hotel, The Rocks, Sydney, the venue of the Conference and return economy airfare from within Australia or New Zealand.

It is intended that the Prize will be presented at the Conference. The winning entry will be published in Intellectual Property Forum, the official journal of IPSANZ.
